Data provenance
The distribution map for wolves in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany is produced jointly by the government bodies responsible for wolf monitoring in these countries. Data are reviewed every November and include all confirmations up to 1 May of that year. Dutch monitoring results are published by BIJ12 on behalf of the provinces.
